The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation will hold All-Russian meetings within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Educational Forum
In order to ensure the implementation of the national project «Education», the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation has taken the initiative to include the All-Russian Meeting of regional coordinators of the federal project «Modern School» and the All-Russian meeting of regional coordinators of the federal project «Digital Educational Environment» into the official programme of the St. Petersburg International Educational Forum.
In order to exchange best practices in the implementation of state policy in the field of education, representatives of regional education management bodies from 82 subjects of the Russian Federation will be invited to participate in these events.
«I am convinced that the successful experience of implementing the state policy in the field of education of St. Petersburg, meetings with colleagues from the regions will bring practical benefits, and the exchange of experience will help in the further work and implementation of the activities of the national project «Education», - says the Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Tatiana Viktorovna Vasilyeva in the letter.
The events of the XI St. Petersburg International Educational Forum will take place from March 18 to 29, 2021. The program was formed by the Education Committee on the basis of proposals from the official partners of the forum, the administrations of the districts of St.‑ Petersburg, educational organizations and public associations and is already available on the new website.
In total, about 300 events are planned within the framework of the forum. Participants will attend conferences, seminars, round tables, master classes, discussion platforms, foresight sessions, pedagogical Olympiads, competitions, quests, and presentations. All events will be conducted in accordance with the current requirements of Rospotrebnadzor.
Official partners of the Forum: Russian State Pedagogical University after A. I. Herzen, Presidential Library named after B. N. Yeltsin , Institute of Education Management of the Russian Academy of Education and the Austrian agency for international mobility and cooperation in education, science and research at the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (Austria).

The St. Petersburg Educational Forum has been held since 2010, and since 2017 it has an international status. By 2019, the forum has become an inter-institutional event, which is confirmed by the geography of participants (33 countries of the world and all regions of Russia; about 30,000 people) and the intense official, business and cultural programmes (more than 250 events).
In 2020, the Forum was prepared, but did not take place due to the epidemiological situation in the country and in the world. It was necessary to organize and hold the forum in 2021 due to the needs of the professional community and the public in organizing communication platforms for discussing the current situation and prospects for the development of educational systems, which is especially important in the context of new coronavirus infection pandemic.
