Forum Participants Discussed the Best Practices of the Implementation of the Federal State Education Standards for Secondary General Education

On March 23, within the framework of the XI St. Petersburg International Educational Forum, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Best Practices of the Implementation of the Federal State Education Standards for Secondary General Education" was held.

The event was joined by about 1,700 participants – heads of educational institutions, representatives of the administration, methodologists, teachers from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Vladimir Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, Chechen Republic, Tver Oblast, the Republic of Tatarstan, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, the Republic of Buryatia, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Tyumen Oblast and other regions of Russia. Foreign experience was presented by colleagues from Kazakhstan, Donetsk People's Republic and the Republic of Moldova.

The fifth traditional conference presenting the best practices of implementing the Federal State Educational Standard of Public Education, was held by the St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, Information and Methodological centres and schools that implement the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary General Education in advance.

At the plenary session in the St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, the results of the innovative work of the city's schools on creating network methodological and practical products for the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standards for Secondary General Education were presented online, the key issues of the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standards in high school, the prospects of the 3:0 and 4:0 Federal State Educational Standards were discussed.

The conference was attended by leading Russian experts in the field of education: Alexander Kondakov, Ed. D., Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education; Irina Uskova, Ph. D. in Pedagogy, Senior Research Associate of the Laboratory of Didactics and Philosophy of Education of the Institute for Strategy of Educational Development of the Russian Academy of Education; Leonid Ilyushin, Ed. D., Professor of St. Petersburg State University and the Higher School of Economics; Elena Galitskikh, Ed. D., Professor, Head of the Department of Russian and Foreign Literature of the Vyatka State University of Humanities; Natalia Mishatina, Professor of the Department of Educational Technology in Philology of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen and others.

At the discussion platforms and breakout sections of the conference, participants discussed the experience and problems of implementing the key areas of implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard; each thematic platform presented practical experience both on general issues related to the implementation of standards and on the stated theme.

• Section 2 – Scientific and practical seminar "Quality education assessment in school in the context of the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard: opportunities, problems, prospects" (Gymnasium No. 406 of the Pushkinsky district of St. Petersburg);
• Section 3 – Discussion platform "Implementation of the Humanitarian Profile in Secondary Education in Accordance with the Federal State Education Standards" (Gymnasium No. 171 of the Tsentralny district of St. Petersburg);
• Section 4 – Discussion platform "Models of the Implementation of Career-Oriented Training in Schools in accordance with the Federal State Education Standards: Technological, Science and Socio-Economic Profiles" (Lyceum No. 64 of the Primorsky district St. Petersburg);
• Section 5 – Discussion platform "Variable Models of the Implementation of "Individual Project" Subject in the Curriculum of the Federal State Educational Standard for Secondary General Education (Gymnasium No. 271 of the Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg);
• Section 6 – "Directions of Successful Implementation of the Federal State Education Standards in the Educational Institutions of the Moskovsky District" (Information and Methodological Centre of the Moskovsky District).

Also, the winners of the city festival "St. Petersburg Lesson. Work According to New Standarts" were awarded within within the framework of the conference.
