Educational Platforms of St. Petersburg Shared Their Successful Experience in Informatization

On March 24-26, within the framework of the XI St. Petersburg International Educational Forum, the XII All-Russian Conference with international participation "Information Technology for the New School" was held online. The conference was organized by the St. Petersburg Centre for Quality Assessment of Education and Information Technologies.

On the first day of the conference, on March 24, 45 educational institutions with experience in the field of informatization to share, hosted online and offline seminars. At a rough estimate, the audience of seminars has increased ten-fold as compared with 2019 and – there were 6,750 participants. Teachers, teachers of supplementary education, preschool teachers and heads of schools and children's institutions from St. Petersburg, Leningrad Oblast, Moscow, Kazan, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Udmurtia, Novgorod Oblast, Pskov Oblast, Vladimir, Vologda, Vladivostok, Kamchatka, Crimea participated in the off-site seminars online. In total, more than 60 regions of the Russian Federation and a number of foreign countries joined the events of the conference.

On March 25 and 26, the conference activities in various distance formats were broadcast from two studios of the St. Petersburg Center for Quality Assessment of Education and Information Technologies. New formats have been added to the traditional forms of the ITNSH conference this year: collective interviews, duelling, teleconferences and a reading room.

The guests of the studios were outstanding representatives of the educational community, among them – Natalia Tyurina, head of educational projects at "Novosti" International Informational Agency, Yulia Zahir, head of the department of the Prosveshchenie publishing house, Boris Ilyukhin, director of the research centre of Federal Education Development Institute of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (FIRO RANEPA), Artem Korzeyev, Yandex Regional Programmes Manager, Lyudmila Rozhdestvenskaya, educational technologist at the Tallinn Russian Gymnasium, teacher coach, etc.

In two days, almost 1,600 viewers watched the broadcasts. The conference website was visited by more than 10 thousand Internet users. Participants of the off-site seminars, webinars and ITNSH activities have already filled out 1011 feedback forms. The participants noted the relevant and relevant and enriching topics of the presentations, thank for the experience provided, and wish further success to the teams of educational institutions in the development of the digital space.
