From Reflexive Sessions to Student Self-Determination
The experience of designing and implementing a reflexive session as a new educational practice in school will be presented to the participants. It includes pedagogical diagnostics and pedagogical reflection aimed at increasing academic motivation and student self-determination. It should be conducted by class teachers as a part of extracurricular activities in grades 5-7 and 8-10. Furthermore, the electronic support system for this practice will be presented at the seminar.
The seminar covers domestic and foreign experience in pedagogical reflection and pedagogical diagnostics of students' academic motivation. It is planned to present the electronic educational complex «Diagnostic School»; patent certificate of the state registration of the computer programme No. 2018616542).
Project of the electronic educational complex «Reflexive session» for the design and conduct of reflexive sessions in educational institutions. At the workshops, teachers will be introduced to the structure of the reflexive session and the matrix necessary for its design. The participants will be able to choose one of the reflexive sessions, take part in its mini-version, try the methods of pedagogical reflection and pedagogical diagnostics of students' academic motivation and watch video clips of reflexive sessions held at the school.
