Complementarity of Family and School in Teaching Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Interaction with a student's family is one of the key factors in achieving the education quality in the modern educational space. This problem is particularly acute in the process of teaching children with disabilities. Parent community has a significant influence on determining educational trajectory and strategy of the child development and, as a result, on providing educational and remedial work in school and preschool educational institution.
The conference will address the issues regarding building a model of interaction between social institutions such as a family of a child with autism spectrum disorders, school, institutions of supplementary education, and cultural institutions. In addition, during the conference the participants will discuss the challenges of counseling a family with a child with autism spectrum disorder in the context of health-protective activities. Plenary session, round tables, as well as master classes by experts are scheduled to be held.
